🌿 Our Story

Chatsworth Wellbeing Centre was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate practitioners who shared one clear vision:
To make health and wellbeing support accessible to everyone — no matter their circumstances.

In the wake of the pandemic, it became clear that more inclusive and holistic support systems were needed. We believe that complementary, holistic, and alternative therapies can meet needs that traditional models often don’t — and that no one should be excluded from support due to cost, ability, or background.

We are a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, created to serve two key purposes:

  • To provide inclusive wellbeing services to adults in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire, through both funded and self-funded therapies, courses, and events.

  • To support wellbeing practitioners with the structure, resources, and network they need to grow their businesses and deliver meaningful, community-based work.

While we do not yet have a permanent physical centre, this remains part of our future vision — a welcoming space for healing, connection, and growth.

🌱 Who We Are

We are a community-driven organisation led by a dedicated team of directors — including two of the original founders — who bring a wide range of experience in wellbeing, therapy, business, and community support.

We exist not only for those seeking help, but also for those providing it. We know that many therapists enter this work out of a desire to help others — but often struggle to find the business support, legal framework, or peer network to thrive.

At Chatsworth Wellbeing Centre, we:

  • Help therapists build and grow sustainable practices

  • Provide a supportive professional network

  • Offer a directory of trusted practitioners and events for the public

  • Create space for collaboration, connection, and learning

We support adults (18+) across Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire, particularly those who are struggling with their health and wellbeing or who may not otherwise be able to access the care they need.

🎯 Our Aims

  • To establish a welcoming, permanent wellbeing centre

  • To deliver funded and accessible wellbeing programmes

  • To be the go-to hub for health and wellbeing in our area

💚 Our Core Values

  • Honesty – We’ll always be transparent and open with you

  • Respect – We welcome everyone into a non-judgemental space

  • Autonomy – We empower you to choose your own path

  • Information – We provide clear options to help you take charge of your wellbeing
